Bad Bunch NYC presents ‘NY Legends Never Die’ collection

Commencing with a head-nod to NBA hall-of-famer, Rookie of the year (’85), trendsetter and NY legend Patrick Ewing. The Consequences of War Jersey draws inspiration from the staple home team the New York Knicks and a commentary piece by Italian painter Peter Paul Rubens. The painting, commissioned by the duke of Italy at the time Ferdinando II de’ Medici, was Peter Paul Rubens response to the state of Europe’s spirit and appearance after the Thirty Years’ War. Using symbolism, Rubens highlighted the culture change, environmental alterations and new found world-views through his brush. The New New York has seen a war of culture lately. The brave have been chosen. We believe that through creative pursuits, collaborations and innovation we can contribute something meaningful to the world. The Consequences of War Jersey symbolize the power of synthesizing art with pop culture and streetwear to create a bettersense of awareness in the collective conscious of today’s youth to make for a better tomorrow.
